2026 QUALIFYING EVENT
All basketball shooting athletes must pick up their t-shirts at Sukup End Zone at Jack Trice Stadium (1732 S 4th St, Ames, IA 50011)
Basketball shooting consists of a shoot out and free throw competition. Participants may enter one or both events for their entry fee.

Gold, Silver, and Bronze medals will be awarded in each gender and age division.
Each athlete must bring his or her own ball. Official high school size and weight balls are to be used for all male divisions age 15 & over. Official girls’ high school size (28.5oz) balls are to be used for all female divisions in addition to male divisions 14 & under.
Volunteers will be needed to help score and time. If you are interested in volunteering, contact Cole Bollweg at cole.bollweg@iowagames.org or click on the “volunteer” button to the right.
Male & Female divisions offered for both events. Participants may enter both events for the entry fee. On your entry form please indicate which event(s) and age group you want to participate in. Age determining date July 19, 2025.

Athletes receive a cotton t-shirt with their entry fee. For $12, athletes can upgrade to a dri-fit shirt during registration. The deadline to order a shirt is June 26.
On-site registrations will be accepted for $40/athlete.
Spectator Admissions will be taken at the event. Spectators can pre-purchase admission by clicking HERE or admission can be purchased on-site.
