2026 QUALIFYING EVENT

T-Shirt Information

All racquetball athletes must pick up their t-shirts at Sukup End Zone at Jack Trice Stadium (1732 S 4th St, Ames, IA 50011)

Competition Format

Two 15 point games with an 11 point tie-breaker. Competition will include a consolation round with best 2 out of 3 games to 11 points each. WINNERS MUST REFEREE FOLLOWING THEIR MATCH OR BE SUBJECT TO FORFEIT. Both members of a winning doubles team must be available to referee a match following theirs. If you win the last match of the day, you are responsible to referee the first matches the next day. For conflicts or questions during the tournament, please call 515.490.6081.

Athletes are limited to 2 events. Entries in a second event must be in a doubles division or age group. Divisions having less than 8 entries may be combined or canceled. Round robin competitions may be formed.

Rules

Current USA Racquetball rules. Closed-lens eye guards are required. All special requests for playing times must be received and approved by the Racquetball Commissioner no later than July 7, 2025.

Registration Deadlines

Participants may enter one event for the entry fee. Each additional event is $5.

$25 if registered by May 1
$30 if registered between May 2 – June 2
$35 if registered between June 3 – July 1

Athletes receive a cotton t-shirt with their entry fee. For $12, athletes can upgrade to a dri-fit shirt during registration. The deadline to order a shirt is June 26.

Spectator Admissions will be taken at the event. Spectators can pre-purchase admission by clicking HERE or admission can be purchased on-site.
