Sunday, July 9: 6:00 am – 7:30 am – Big Creek State Park Marina (at beach)*
*Race packets will be located in the transition at the participant’s bike spot. No formal check in will take place.
Transition area: Open from 6:00 – 7:30 am on Sunday morning.
Mandatory pre-race meeting: At the swim start area at 7:45 am.
Competition: Begins at 8:00 am

This is an open course event, meaning that participants must share the road with traffic. For safety, helmets must be worn during the cycling portion of the competition and no headphones/iPods will be allowed on any part of the course. Participants should leave their running shoes in the transition area.
Course will consist of the following:
Run – 5K
Bike – 20K
Run – 5K
Triathlon Federation USA Rules will be followed, with the right to make exceptions. This is not a sanctioned race. Note: Helmets must be worn during the cycling portion of the competition. For safety reasons, no headphones/iPods etc. will be allowed on any part of the course.

True Time Racing Service will chip time the event. Disposable chips will be distributed with packets.

Gold, silver and bronze medals awarded in each age division. Medals will not be given out until everyone has finished and results are compiled.
Athletes will receive a dri-fit shirt with their entry fee. The shirt will be in your race packet.

Check-in / Information / Refreshments | 5:45 – 11:00 am
Job duties: Hand t-shirts to participants as they come to redeem their tickets, help set up refreshments and monitor refreshment area.
Body Marking / Swim Exit Counter | 6:00 – 10:00 am
Job duties: Mark athletes with a Sharpie and count swimmers as they exit the water to make sure all are accounted for.
Course Support | 7:00 – 11:00 am
Job duties: help direct participants and assist with other needs along the course.
Individual Fees*:
$65 if registered by April 1
$75 if registered between April 2 and May 1
$85 if registered between May 2 and May 16 (noon)
Team Fees*:
$135/team if registered by April 1
$145/team if registered between April 2 and May 1
$160/team if registered between May 2 and May 16 (noon)
On-site registrations will be accepted but are limited so pre-registration is highly encouraged.
