There will be 1,000 meter sprints. There is no limit to the number of events one may enter as long as the race schedule is not disrupted.
Recreation – Defined by the size of the boat. It is a single boat that is wider and shorter than a competitive shell.
Novice sweep rower – A sweep rower who has been rowing less than 12 months.
Novice sculler – A sculler who’s first competition as a sculler has been within the last 12 months.
Junior – A rower under the age of 19, or graduation in 2021 from high school.
Master – A rower who is age 18 years or older as of December 31, 2023. Masters races will be handicapped by age.
Para Rowing – Any challenged athlete who need adaptation in order to compete in the sport of rowing.
United States Rowing Association rules of racing apply.
*Mixed boats may have 50/50 women to men ratios, or more women than men.
Day of competition.
Medals for first, second and third. Medals will be given out on Saturday, July 15 at 4:00 pm.
Athletes will receive a cotton T-shirt. T-shirts will be available at your venue.
