Athletes will receive a colored T-shirt for their entry fee. Pre-registered athletes may upgrade their cotton shirt for a dri-fit for an additional $12 through June 22.
T-shirt pick up will be located indoors at the Sukup South Endzone at Jack Trice Stadium. Access to Sukup Endzone is from University Boulevard. Hours are:
Friday, July 17: 12:00 PM – 7:30 PM
Saturday, July 18: 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM
Sunday, July 19: 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM
Participating center roll-offs will be held January 15 – March 31, 2020. Center roll-off participants will complete an entry form at the participating center. The center will submit your scores to the Iowa Bowling Proprietors Association (IBPA). There is no Iowa Games fee for center roll-offs but you will need to pay lineage fee associated with the center. Center roll-off participants do not receive an Iowa Games t-shirt. Results from center roll-offs will qualify you for districts.
Districts – Due to COVID-19, Districts has been moved to June 27/28 and July 11/12.
The Iowa Bowling Proprietors Association will tabulate results from the bowling center roll-offs and determine the bowlers for the 12 districts. Districts will be held June 27/28 & July 11/12. At districts bowlers will pay an Iowa Games entry fee, center lineage fee and will receive a Summer Iowa Games t-shirt. District Iowa Games medals will be given to the top three places in each division. Results from districts will be submitted to the IBPA to determine bowlers who qualify for the State Finals held in Ames on August 8.
Qualifiers will be notified by the Iowa Bowling Proprietors Association. State Finals will be held in Ames on Saturday, August 8. State final Iowa Games medals will be given to the top three places in each division. All State Finals participants will receive free entry into the Iowa Games Opening Ceremony held on Friday, July 17. Medalist also qualify for the 2021 State Games of America held in Ames.
Current USBC and USBC Youth rules will apply.

Doubles competition may consist of 2 male, 2 female, or 2 person coed
Gold, Silver, and Bronze medals for each division will be given at the District Level and State Finals.
Those individuals advancing from district qualifying to the finals will be notified of their advancement and assigned times.
