IHSAA rules will apply, except for the use of headgear.
Format
Grades K-6 (WR
100 -
WR 300) will wrestle
on Friday, July 16. Folkstyle wrestling
tournament. Four man
round robin brackets
will be used
whenever possible to
wrestle three - 1
minute periods. Wrestler's weight the day of
competition should
be within 3
pounds of the
weight listed at the
time of
registration.
If your weight
has changed please
contact the
wrestling
commissioner by
Thursday, July 15 at
NOON.
Grade 7 thru
adults (WR
400
- WR 700)
will wrestle 2 - 1 - 1 periods on Saturday, July 17.
Double elimination, folkstyle wrestling
tournament with
eight man brackets
used whenever
possible. Wrestler's
weight the day of
competition should
be within 3 pounds
of the weight listed
at the time of
registration.
If your weight
has changed please
contact the
wrestling
commissioner by
Thursday, July 15 at
NOON. Traditional
weight brackets will
not be used in 9-12
Grade
in (WR 500), the
Adult Open (WR 600)
and 30 & Over (WR
700) divisions. Wrestlers
in the same division
will be paired in 8
man brackets with
similar weights
where possible.
If you are not
within 3 pounds of
the weight listed,
you will not be
allowed to wrestle.
Age Determining Date
2010-2011 school year for grade divisions. July 17, 2010 for
age divisions.
Awards
Olympic-style
medals will be awarded through fourth place.
