Format
HO
102 will be divided into 6-person classes. Athletes will
be placed in the classes according to their abilities (ringer
percentage). Within each class, competition will consist of
round robin single matches. Games will be 40 point cancellation
or 40 or 50-shoe games. Count all may be used in some classes.
All athletes should check-in at the horseshoe courts by 9:00
am the day of their competition, unless otherwise notified.
Competition may begin at that time. Pitchers are responsible
for bringing their own horseshoes.

Qualifying
Requirements
Those pitchers who belong
to the Iowa Hawkeye Horseshoe Pitchers Association (I.H.H.P.A.)
will use their ringer percentage. Others must qualify by throwing
100 shoes to determine their percentage. These can be thrown
at various locations statewide. For the nearest location,
please call the horseshoe
commissioner.
