**Wrestlers
weight the day of the
competition must be
within three (3) pounds
of weight listed at the
time of registration.
Officials
Iowa High School
certified officials will
be used.
Awards
Olympic style medals will be awarded
through fourth place. All participants will receive an Iowa Games
T-shirt.
Competition
Format
Divisions:
Pre-K
1-2 Grade
3-4 Grade
5-6 Grade
7-8 Grade
(Pre-K NO match score
will be kept.
Advanced Kindergarten
may move up if desired.)
Pre-K, 1-2 Grade,
3-4 Grade, 5-6 Grade
will wrestle 1-1-1
periods.
7-8 Grade will wrestle
2-1-1 periods.
All brackets will
be 4 man Round Robin
Brackets if possible.
(Division Pre-K
through 6th grade will
wrestle on 1/2 mats and
7-8 Grade will wrestle
on full mats)
Rules
IHSAA rules will apply, except for the use
of headgear.
