be posted on the Iowa Games Web site approximately seven days prior to
competition. NO SCHEDULES WILL BE MAILED!

Competition
Format
Round robin tournament with
all teams playing three (3) games whenever possible.
Games will be three - 15 minute
periods.
Scoring
Medal winners in each division will be
based on win-loss-tie record (i.e. 2 points per win, 0 points per loss, 1 point
for a tie). If a tie exists after all games, then it will be broken by an
additional set of criteria that will be given with the game schedule.
Scorer
Requirements
The
Iowa Games is successful
only through the efforts
of its volunteers. Each
team is required to
provide qualified
individuals to assist
with announcing and
scorekeeping while their
team is playing.
Age
Limits
Men's adult competition will have a
minimum age of 18.
Rules
Current USA Hockey rules will apply.
Equipment
Helmets are required for all
athletes.
Rosters/Changes

Waivers should
be in the Iowa Games
office by 4:00 pm on
February 10.
Teams not returning
their waivers by
February 10 should
bring the signed waivers to your venue.
Please allow extra
time at check-in for
your waivers to be
processed.
Teams may have a
maximum of 20
players. New
players and/or replacement players must complete an
Individual Entry Form and the waiver must be signed.
For replacement players, please indicate which player they
are replacing. Roster limits will be enforced.

Deadline
Note that ice hockey will be
filled in order of postmark date. Slots cannot be held. The Iowa Games office
will maintain the list of entered teams. Teams in excess of the maximum
will be placed on a waiting list. The maximum number of teams may be
adjusted at the discretion of the Iowa Games staff.
