7 days prior to competition. No schedules will
be mailed!
Competition Format
6 vs. 6. Open divisions may be any combination of male
and/or female players. In the coed divisions, 3 males and
3 females per team will be required to start each game.
Play will consist of matches in a "best-of-five"
format in which the first team to win three (3) games will be
declared winner of the match. During pool play, all 5 games will
be played regardless of the results of the first 3 games. Pool
play will be followed by a single elimination tournament.

National Amateur Dodgeball Association rules,
with modifications, will govern play. See
www.dodgeballusa.com
for an overview of these rules. Substitutions will be
permitted during time outs. Each team will be allowed
one 30 second time out per game. A person who is
already out of a game may sub back in during a time out.
Females must sub for females and males must sub for males in
the coed division. EACH TEAM WILL BE SCHEDULED
TO SERVE AS THE COURT MOINTOR(S) FOR THE DIVISION YOU HAVE
ENTERED.
Eligibility
All athletes competing in the adult
divisions must be 16 years of age or older. Grade
divisions are based on the 2007-2008 school year.

Roster Limits
Teams may have a maximum of 10
players. A player can appear on only one
team roster and can play on only one
team.
Roster limits will be enforced.
Roster Changes
Postmark deadline: January 16
Online deadline (for teams that
registered online): January 21
(waivers must be in the Iowa Games
office by 4:00 pm on January 23)
Teams

Teams that originally register online may make roster
changes online until January 21. New players and/or replacement players
must complete an
Individual
Entry Form and the waiver must be signed. For replacement

Equipment
The Iowa Games will provide all game
balls.
Entry Procedure
Register online at
www.iowagames.org by
January 14 or have your entries postmarked by January 9.
(The division will be filled by order of postmark date.
Entries hand delivered to the Iowa Games office and online
entries will be considered that day's postmark. The
Iowa Games will maintain the list of registered teams at
www.iowagames.org.
Teams in excess of the maximum will be placed on a waiting list.
