Competition Format

The InCydeman Triathlon is Iowa State Triathlon Club's 4th annual indoor triathlon, sanctioned by USA Triathlon.  The race consists of a 500-yard swim in the Beyer competition pool, an 8-mile bike in the State Gym spin room, and a 2-mile run on the State Gym indoor track.  this event is a qualifier for both the 2017 Age Group and Collegiate National Championship races.

This race is a two-day event.  Athltes who are on MWCTC Collegiate Club teams will compete on Sat. Jan. 14, and age group athletes will compete on Sun. Jan. 15.  Age-group divisions are open to the public.  Three FREE clinics will take place on Saturday afternoon and are open to both collegiate and age group athletes.

New this year, we will be allowing high school students to race on Sun. Jan. 15 during the age group race.  All students must be at least 13 years old, in high school, and have a parent/guardian's signature on their race waiver.  A new awards division of 19 & under will be added to the awards ceremony at the conclusion of the race.
