Figure Skating

Competition Format

Events will be grouped by test level as indicated. Event eligibility is based on test status as of Jan. 23, 2012 (entry deadline). Males and females will compete separately. However, if entries warrant and to give all athletes an opportunity to compete, male and female skaters may compete together in the same event. Levels with more than eight (8) entries may be divided by age. Competition will start with beginners and progress through each level with adults being the last group. Athletes may enter one level higher than the level for which they are otherwise qualified.

System of Judging: 6.0

Adult Skaters please indicate your freestyle level on the entry form.

Practice Ice

The Cedar Rapids Ice Arena (CRIA) will be offering practice sessions. Please call to reserve a time, 319-594-3363. Practice session times are subject to change if the competition needs to start earlier.
