Competition Format
Modern Class: may have modern western wear and use post 1900 firearms with adjustable sights. Shooters MUST have a western look. No ball caps, t-shirts or tennis shoes will be allowed. Smokeless or Black powder may be used.
Period Class: MUST have "period correct" clothing, firearms, and accessories from the 1865-1899 era. May use smokeless or black powder.
ALL CLASSES: Please designate smokeless or black powder.
Rules
Due to the nature of this competition, the listed range officers' decisions regarding any question concerning rules will be final. Hearing and eye protection are required. All shooters are responsible for their own equipment.

Ammunition Requirements
Projectiles shall be cast lead or lead alloy. No metal-jacketed projectiles allowed. Smokeless loads shall not exceed the maximum muzzle velocities of comparable black powder loads. No squib/magnum velocity loads. No loading below manufacture’s recommendation. Minimum velocity for any match firearm is 600fps or published loading data for each caliber. Shotgun shells shall be lead only and no larger than #7 1/2’s. For new or first time shooters who do not reload it is recommended that you use factory cowboy loads. Smokeless loads may be chronographed and certified before the shooter will be allowed to compete.
