Competition format
Each match is 3 minutes, modified double elimination or round robin. Grand Championship competition for Senior Men and Women first place winners will be held, at Mat Director's discretion. KATA Competition: for brown belts and under first three sets of NAGE-NO-KATA, advanced all forms, all sets. The tournament directors reserve the right to adjust divisions based on the number of entries. Junior divisions will be established based on a combination of weight and age.
Rules
Modified IJF rules will apply. No chokes allowed if either competitor is under the age of 13. No arm bars allowed in Junior competition. IJI sanction application filed.

July 14, 2012
Awards
Medals for first, second, and third in each division.

Sport Specific Information
Each athlete must be a current member of USA Judo, USJA, or USJF and must have proof of current insurance. On-site registration will be available for USA Judo during the weigh ins or before the tournament.
Teams
Junior Teams: Champions will be selected by points earned during the tournament.
Senior Teams: Competition will consist of Light to Heavy pairings, or by points earned during the tournament
