Parking Lot S7 on the campus of Iowa State University.  Lot S7 is directly east of Jack Trice Stadium on University Blvd.  


All activities and entertainment is FREE.  
Concession prices based on Food Trucks.

Pick up your Food & Family Fair/Athlete Credential at the Athlete Jamboree near the blue arch. Visit each commodity group's booth and be entered into a drawing to win prizes such as
Adventureland Tickets, Iowa State Fair passes, gift cards & 
much more.

7:30 PM | Parade of Athletes 

All Iowa Games Athletes & Coaches are encouraged to walk in the Opening Ceremony Parade of Athletes.  
At 7:30 PM the entertainment and activities will end in Lot S7 but things will just be getting started inside Jack Trice Stadium.
Parade of Athletes will line up on the sidewalk west of Lot S7.  

The Ames Noon Rotary Club & other volunteers will be handing
out our Parade of Athlete cards for your name/team name & sport to be read as you enter Jack Trice Stadium.  The Parade of Athletes 
will enter the NE Gate at Jack Trice.

Parking is available at Jack Trice Stadium in the lots North of Jack Trice.  
No parking is allowed in parking lot S6, S7 & S8 due to the Athlete Jamboree.


Athletes & Coaches - FREE.  To receive your Athlete/Coach ticket stop by the T-shirt pick up tent in parking lot S7 on Friday, July 15.
Only one representative from teams need to stop by the tent.

$2.00 - 12 & Under

Proceeds from the Opening Ceremony will benefit the Iowa Food Bank Association.  

389,250 Iowans are food insecure (12.6% of all Iowans)
139,850 children in Iowa are food insecure (one in five children) 
$1 donated to food banks provides 4 meals to hungry families
Last year participants donated over $3,900 to the Iowa Food Bank Association through online donations & Opening Ceremony ticket sales.

How to purchase tickets?

Online Pre-Sale:
Tickets may be purchased online prior to the event via online.  Tickets purchased July 8 or earlier will be mailed to the individual.  Tickets purchased online after July 9 will be available for pick up in parking lot S7 at the Ticket Tent (NE corner of lot) from 5:00 - 7:30 pm.


Event Day:

Tickets will also be available on Friday, July 14 in parking lot S7 (NE Corner) from 5:00 - 7:30 p.m. as well as outside the Northwest Gate (Gate 5) at Jack Trice from 6:00 - 7:45 p.m. 
Method of payment:  CASH (preferred method), Check (payable to Iowa Games)

7:00 p.m. - Gates open to Jack Trice Stadium.  General Public please use Gate 5 (NW Side) to enter Jack Trice Stadium.
7:30 p.m. - Lot S7 - Parade of Athletes Line up along the East side of Jack Trice Stadium on the sidewalk. 
7:45 p.m. - Parade of Athletes Begins.  
8:00 p.m. - Opening Ceremony Starts
9:15 p.m. - Fireworks

Please line up on the East side of Jack Trice Stadium by lots S7.  Athletes will enter the stadium from the Northeast corner.
