Register for the 20th Anniversary Winter Iowa Games
AMES, Iowa – The 2012 20th Anniversary Winter Iowa Games powered by the Iowa Food & Family Project will begin five weekends of competition on Jan. 21. Dubuque will play host to the majority of events, Jan. 27-29. Online registration and registration forms are available at www.IOWAGAMES.org.
The 2012 Winter Iowa Games will hold competitions for 21 sports. Adult men’s basketball, broomball, dodgeball, figure skating and adult ice hockey will be held in Cedar Rapids on Feb. 11-12. The 2011 Games featured more than 4,000 athletes from across the state. As Iowa’s premier winter sports festival, the Games will be held in 11 Iowa communities over the five-week period.
Several registration deadlines are approaching in the upcoming weeks, so register now and save on your entry fee.

Jan. 21 - Basketball – Wheelchair, Waukee YMCA
Jan. 21-22 - Swimming, Dubuque
Jan. 27-29 - Dubuque, Iowa
Alpine Ski Racing, Youth Basketball, Cross Country Skiing, Fitness Walk, Youth Ice Hockey, Indoor Soccer, Martial Arts, Road Race, SlopeStyle and Freestyle (Skiing/Snowboarding), Table Tennis, Volleyball and Wrestling
Feb. 4 – Horseshoes, Eldora; Trapshooting, Ackley, DeWitt, Harlan, Montrose
Feb. 11-12 - Cedar Rapids, Iowa
Adult Men’s Basketball, Broomball, Dodgeball, Figure Skating and Adult Ice Hockey
Feb. 11 - Archery, Johnston; Fitness Walk, Des Moines
Feb. 25 - Women's 6 on 6 Basketball, Story City
