Your internship may well be the most important part of your education. In fact, many companies make hiring decisions based upon the positive or negative recommendations for a candidate's internship company. One very important thing to remember at any internship: you will only get as much out of the internship as you put into it.

At the Iowa Sports Foundation, our mission is to give you a real world experience that will prepare you for the career path you choose. Our missions is to promote amateur sports within the State of Iowa and to host Olympic-style festivals, competitions and exhibitions; create awareness, emphasize and educate Iowan's concerning the numerous benefits of good health, physical fitness, good character and competition.

The Iowa Sports Foundation is a non-profit organization that hosts several events throughout the year including: Summer Iowa Games, Winter Iowa Games, Live Healthy Iowa.

We offer internships during the fall, spring and summer sessions. Internships will take place at the Iowa Sports Foundation office in Ames, Iowa.
